Amidst Intrigues, APC Reschedules Guber Primaries in Lagos, Enugu, Adamawa

Again, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has rescheduled governorship primaries in Lagos, Enugu and Adamawa States.

The governorship primary in Lagos has been repeatedly rescheduled in the face of intrigues between Governor Akinwunmi Ambode and his estranged godfather, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who has opposed his bid for a second term.

The primary which  was scheduled to hold Monday has again been rescheduled for Tuesday.

A statement by the Acting National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena also announced the rescheduling of the primaries in Enugu and Adamawa States to Thursday.

The statement also announced that “the mode of primaries for Enugu and Adamawa states has also been changed from INDIRECT to DIRECT Primaries.”
