Onyegocha, Anti-Third Term Champion In The Dock For Election Violence
The trial of a former member of the House of Representatives, Uche Onyegocha on the charge of disrupting the Imo State governorship election has been adjourned to May 6.
Uche Onyegocha who made name as the only Southeast member of the House of Representatives in 2006 to oppose the Third Term was on Tuesday charged before Chief Magistrate R.O. Nworka along with two other party agents for electoral misconduct.
The agents had in the course of the coalition of the figures generated during the Imo State governorship election in Owerri.
Onyegocha was granted bail by the magistrate upon the submission brought by his counsel, Loius Alozie (SAN).
