Nigeria Under Seige, Use Easter To Pray For Good Leaders – Obi

Vice Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2019 election, Mr. Peter Obi has called on Nigerians to use the sobriety offered by Easter to pray for the country escape from the series of misfortunes that have lately befallen the country.

Obi, the immediate past governor of Anambra State in his Easter message to the country called on the citizenry to use the occasion to pray for God’s intervention given what he described as the siege on the country on account of what he claimed as bad leadership.

Obi in the statement issued by his media office said:

“This country has been undergoing a prolonged period of misfortune that this period of Easter provides huge opportunity for Christians to return to God in supplications for lasting solutions to our myriads of challenges.”

“Indicators are apparent that the country is under siege and Nigerians should use this solemn period of Easter to pray for God to intervene and raise good.”
