N70M Mummy Ransom: Siasia Begs He Has Been Unemployed For Three Years

Former Nigeria international and Super Eagles coach, Samson Siasia, has pleaded with the kidnappers of his 80-year-old mother, Madam Beauty Ogere to release her and the other two women abducted with her few days ago saying he has been unemployed in the last three years.

Ogere along with another elderly woman, Florence Donana and her 17 year-old daughter were  kidnapped at Odoni community, Sagbama Local Government Area by yet-to-be identified gunmen on July 15.

The abductors have allegedly reached out to Siasia asking for N70M ransom in order to release their hostages. 

Siasia, though currently out of the country said he was unemployed at the moment and does not have such money to pay as ransom.

The former U-21 coach appealed to the kidnappers to let go of his mother citing old age and failing health and added that his mom might not survive the cold weather. 

In his words “The kidnappers I just want to say please, I beg you. The woman is old please release her. I don’t have a job in the last three years. 

She is an old woman, with this cold, she may not survive it. I dont have that kind of money they are asking for.”
