Atiku Lament’s Sowore’s ‘Kidnap’

Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has flayed the arrest of Omoyele Sowore supposedly by operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS.

Atiku in a reaction on twitter dubbed the arrest as a kidnap as he observed that freedom of expression is a sub-structure of the country’s democracy.

Sowore is a convener of the #RevolutionNow Protests which aims to organize a nationwide protest against bad governance on Monday.

Reacting to the arrest, Atiku in his twitter page said:

“Freedom of speech is not only constitutionally guaranteed, it is the substructure of our democracy.

“These kidnappings in the guise of arrests stands condemned.”
