The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the Igbo socio-political group,  Chuks Ibegbu has flayed Senator Shehu Sani for calling on the leadership of the All Progressives Congress(APC) to zone the 2023 Presidency to the South West.
Ibeghu noted that the calls for South West presidency is devoid of justice and equity considering that the South East has not yet produced an Executive President.
He made this known in an interview with journalists, on Tuesday, in Umuahia, the Abia state capital.

He described the position of Shehu Sani as “This type of Sani’s thinking is responsible for the current state of the nation. How can a former Senator of that calibre who claims to be an activist have this kind of warped political reasoning devoid of justice and equity?
However, the Ohanaeze spokesman insisted that after the North(Buhari), it’s the turn of the Southeast to produce the next Nigeria President, calling on the people of Southeast to go into alliances in order to occupy the number one seat of the nation.
It would be recalled that the former senator had while speaking with journalists in Kaduna, on Monday, noted that it would be unfair if the South West is denied presidency in 2023 after helping the APC to dethrone the Peoples Democratic Party in 2015.
