El-Zakzaky On His Way Back To Nigeria

Leader of the proscribed Islamic Movement of Nigeria, IMNSheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky is on his way back to Nigeria following an impasse on the procedure for his treatment.

It was gathered that he boarded a commercial plane at 5.00 p.m. Indian time on his way back to the country, PRNigeria, reported.

He is expected to arrive Abuja alongside his wife on Friday.
The Shite leader in a video message sent through his office, said it was decided that they would be flown back to Nigeria.

He said that he expected that that would be the best option in the circumstances arising from the logjam over the procedure for his treatment.
PRNigeria quoted a top member of the Islamic Human Right Commission (IHRC) which negoatiated the medical treatment in India as saying that the Nigerian government’s interference and scuttling of the whole process rather than supervision as ordered by the court as the direct cause of the impasse.
