Police Parade Killers Of Father Offu

Two of five persons involved in the killing of the Enugu based Rev. Father Paul Offu have been apprehended, the police in Enugu disclosed on Friday.

Fr. Offu, was killed on August 1 along Ihe-Agbudu Road in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State in a development that shook many.

The same group of killers were also alleged to be involved in the kidnapped an Enugu monarch, HRH Igwe Sunday Orji and his wife on August 4 in the same vicinity where the killing of the cleric happened.

Two of the suspects apprehended gave their names as Ibrahim Adamu (25 years) from Taraba state and Idris Tobe (28 years).

Three of those allegedly involved in the killing are said to be at large. They are Garba Basulugu, Mohammed Laguband Mojunpan Duna.

Though the two suspects claimed not to have been involved in the killing of Fr. Offu, they nevertheless confessed to have been involved in the kidnap of HRH Orji and his wife.
