COZA: Why Biodun Boycotted PFN Probe

The investigation by the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN into the rape allegations levelled against founder of COZA, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo was declared inconclusive upon the failure of the embattled pastor to appear before the investigative panel.

GreenWhiteGreen has learnt that Fatoyinbo opted not to appear before the committee upon misgivings upon the influence of a very powerful figure within the Pentecostal movement he has perceived to be against him.

The beef between the two men is said to be known to some prominent ministers within the Pentecostal community, sources revealed.

Fatoyinbo it was gathered also opted not to appear before the committee as he preferred to first see the outcome of the police investigations into the issue.

Fatoyinbo had also threatened to institute a civil action against the Dakolos but he has as at the moment yet to initiate any.

Following the outbreak of the scandal, the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN had delegated investigation of the matter to the PFN with a former general overseer of the Foursquare Gospel Church of Nigeria, Dr. Wilson Badejo as chairman.

Speaking to newsmen on Thursday, PFN’s National Publicity Secretary, Bishop  Emma Isong disclosed that pastor  Fatoyinbo refused to show up to the panel set up to investigate the accusations against him.

Bishop Isong noted that Timi Dakolo and his wife, Busola Dakolo showed up before the panel, while declaring the report of the panel inconclusive due to the failure of the accused to meet with panel. 

It would recalled that CAN had issued two weeks ultimatum to PFN to submit its report on the probe.
