Why Senator Abbo Wants The Woman After His Seat To Listen To God

Senator Ishaku Abbo, the lawmaker who came to national reckoning after a video clip of him beating an attendant in a sex toy shop has told his female challenger for the Adamawa North Senatorial seat to listen to God.
Senator Abbo of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP defeated the All Progressives Congress, APC’s candidate, Senator Garba Binta Masi who was the incumbent at the time of the election in February 2019.
Speaking after the National Assembly Elections Petitions Tribunal for Adamawa State affirmed him as the winner of the election, Senator Abbo asked Senator Masi to listen to God.
“The voice of the people is the voice of God. People have spoken through their ballot, and today, a court of competent jurisdiction has affirmed the people’s choice. I am elated.”
Senator Masi who was present had pledged to appeal the judgment.
The tribunal in the judgment read out by its chairman, Justice Suleiman Akanbi affirmed that Senator Masi and the APC failed to prove their case that there was over-voting as alleged by them.
