Alaibe Vows To Accept Result Of Transparent Primary

Chief Timi Alaibe, a governorship aspirant in the People’s Democratic Party, has pledged to support whosever emerges as the winner of the party transparent primaries holding on Tuesday.

Chief Alaibe stated this during a media parley with newsmen in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.

Chief Alaibe who disclosed that he will run a Blue Ocean Economy and invite private sector capital for sustainable development in the State, said he would create an enabling environment that would also attract foreign investors noting that he has a 10 point agenda that would develop critical sectors in the state.

Speaking on a variety of issues, the Opokuma born businessman turned politician said skills acquisition for youths, creation of job opportunities, accessible health facilities in all the local government areas and care for the elderly are some of the things he would bring to bear.

On his relationship with Governor Seriake Dickson, Chief Alaibe says there is no rift between him and the state governor noting that their relationship is cordial.

The former NDDC helmsman who noted that he is very passionate about the development of Bayelsa State says he would improve the power sector and initiate capacity training for women and youths to make them employable.

Chief Alaibe also assured that if the process of electing his party’s governorship candidate is transparent, free fair and credible he would support whosever emerges the party’s flagbearer
