The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has weighed into the fray over xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa, but taken a different stance from the majority of Nigerians calling for a boycott of South Africa.
The man of God who has rather called for peace and unity irrespective of race, colour and language.
Pastor Adeboye joined the list of prominent Nigerians who have intervened reacted through his personal Twitter account by suing for peace.
He tweeted: “Please shun violence, its dividends last a lifetime. Let us all embrace peace and remember that regardless of our race, color or language, we are all of God. #saynotoxenophobia”
