Dino Melaye Snubs PDP’s Appointment As Kogi Campaign Manager

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP was on Friday desperately fighting to quench a crisis flowing from the snub by Senator Dino Melaye oof his appointment as director-general of the party’s governorship campaign in Kogi State.

Melaye was an aspirant for the ticket that was surprisingly won by Musa Wada who beat his senior brother and former governor of the state and others for the ticket.

Melaye took fourth position after Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim and Governor Idris Wada.

Rejecting his nomination as campaign manager on his twitter handle, @dino_melaye, the lawmaker said:

“Let me state categorically that I have turned down the position of Director-General of the PDP Kogi State Governorship Campaign Council.

“I wish PDP all the best. When truth is a casualty there is chaos,” Senator Melaye tweeted.
