Dino Drama In Kogi: PDP Says Dino Requested For Appointment Letter

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State has urged the public to disregard news about that Senator Dino Melaye rejected his appointment as the Director General of the party’s governorship campaign as fake and rumour.

The party in a statement, signed by the spokesperson of the party in the state, Bode Ogunmola on Friday, it was noted that Senator Melaye requested for the letter of appointment, and that hence, if he were to reject it, he would do so by form of writing.

Part of the statement reads that:

“He has promised to call for a meeting as soon as he is back from London.

“We therefore hope that if there was reason for the decline he would have written back to the party “Since there was no official communication rejecting the appointment we urge the public and members of our party to consider the information trending that Sen. Dino Melaye has rejected his appointment as rumour and fake
