Diri Gets Strong Backing From Former Guber Aspirant, Ayawei

Building up to the 16th November governorship elections in Bayelsa State, Dr. Nimibofa Ayawei, one of the defeated governorship aspirants in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has thrown his weight behind the candidature of Senator Douye Diri, describing him as a leader with conviction.
Dr. Ayawei spoke when he received Diri in his Yenaoga residence as part of the candidate’s consultations.
Dr. Ayawei who said Diri having been elected as the party’s standard bearer is seen as a right peg in a right hole.
He thus assured members of the PDP and Bayelsans of his unflinching support towards mobilising his support base in the State to see to the victory of the party and Diri in the forthcoming gubernatorial elections in the State.
