Group Lauds Ishaku On Tribunal Victory

A group known as PDP Supporters League has congratulated Gov. Darius Ishaku of Taraba State on his electoral victory at the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal.

In a statement on Friday, the National Publicity Secretary of the group, Mr. Innocent Edwin hailed the tribunal’s judgement saying it’s a victory for the good people of the state and democracy in general.

The group also noted that it’s founder, Senator Aisha Jummai Alhassan is particularly pleased with the outcome of the judgement because it will put an end to all unnecessary distractions in the state.

The statement also noted that Taraba State does not need any litigation or action that will hinder the delivery of good governance in the state.

While congratulating the governor for his victory, the group advised the opposition party to accept defeat and refuse the temptation of appealing the judgement in the interest of the state.

The group called on Tarabans to continue to have faith in the Government of Gov. Ishaku as it is poised to delivering democratic dividends to the people.
