Gunmen Abduct School Principal In Kaduna

A week after gunmen abducted six girls and two staff from a private secondary school in Kaduna State, gunmen early on Thursday morning abducted the principal of a government-owned secondary school in Maraban Kajuru Community in Kajuru Local Government Area of the state.

Channels Television which reported the development quoted what it claimed as credible sources within the state administration claimed that the invading gunmen numbered about 20.

They were reported to have stormed the Government Technical Secondary School as early as 12 midnight on Thursday and shot sporadically into the air to scare staff and students.

The shooting it was gathered caused bedlam as students and staff ran for safety but the gunmen reportedly went to the principal’s residence where they took away the principal.
