Nigerians Laud Prosecution Of Man Who Serially Raped His Daughters

Nigerians have reacted with shock to the news of a man serially raping his two daughters in their home in Lagos.

Graphic details of the action of the man were presented before the Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court a week ago.

Reacting to the issue, the President General, Yoruba Afenifere Youth Organisation of Nigeria, Eric Oluwole, told GreenWhiteGreen that the man should be made to face the law of the land. He expressed delight that already the man has been arrested and he is with the police.

‘It is a very sad situation, but my opinion on the matter is that he should be made to face the law of the land.

“I cannot say the man should be killed or any other thing should be done to him except according to the provisions of the law”.

On his part, a Pastor with Deeper Life Christian Ministry, Obike Elezue did not express surprise over the action.

He said, “What do you expect from a man that has not experienced a second touch (born again)? He urged law enforcement agents to take appropriate action on the man in order to serve as a deterrent to others in society.

A secondary school teacher in Maya, Ikorodu, Kunle Ajayi said such a man should be subjected to a psychiatric test to determine the mental condition of the man because the action is abnormal of a human being.

He said, “I don’t think the action is normal of a human being. The problem is that people tend to ascribe every evil action to the devil but we all human being that has the ability too accept or reject every action.”
