Kidnappers Release Court Of Appeal Court Judge

Justice Chioma Nwosu-Iheme of the Court of Appeal who was kidnapped about two weeks ago has been released by her abductors.

She was reportedly released on Wednesday night. The terms of her release were not immediately known.

She was kidnapped in Benin on her way to the East.

Her release was confirmed by Barrister D.O. Nosike, the chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA Owerri branch chairman to barristerNG, a news website.

He said:

Good evening Learned Silks, distinguished seniors and colleagues. It’s with a joyful heart and praises to God Almighty ,that I announce to us all that my Lord, Hon. Justice Chioma Nwosu-Iheme has been released. I thank God Almighty, and all of us, for our steadfastness, support and prayers.
