Mourhinho Becomes Worlds Second Highest Earning Soccer Coach
Jose Mourinho’s new contract with London premiership side Tottenham Hotspurs has made him the world’s second highest-earning coach it has emerged. He is to earn a £15m-a-year salary in his new contract running through to 2023.
He, however, remains second to his bitter rival, Pep Guardiola, Manchester City Manager who is five million pounds higher than him at £20m per annum.
Mourinho who has been without a job since he was sacked by Manchester United a year ago was offered the huge pay essentially based on the desperation of Tottenham for silverware.
Mourinho has lifted 25 of such silverware between his time at Portugal, Spain and England.
