Ohanaeze Speaks On Fraud Allegations Against Air Peace Chairman

Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the apex socio-cultural body for the Igbo has expressed well wishes to Mr. Allen Onyema, chairman of Air Peace over his unfolding issues with the American judicial system.

President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Chief Nnia Nwodo in a statement, late on Monday said the body wishes Onyema well and hopes he gets justice over the issues of fraud levelled against him.

While expressing the worry of the leadership of the body on the allegations raised against the aviation entrepreneur, he said:

“We are quite aware of his huge investments in aviation sector that has repositioned the sector for efficiency and at the same time provided employment for the teeming unemployed Nigerians.

“We are also aware of his unparalleled magnanimity that helped save the lives of many Nigerians at the height of xenophobic attacks in South Africa.

“We are closely watching and monitoring the event with consummate attention to see how it will pan out.

“We wish him well in his ordeal and hope that he will get justice at the end of the day.”
