Oshiomhole Faction Going Ahead With Ize-Iyamu’s Reception
Plans for the reception of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu into the All Progressives Congress, APC are going on despite a police order stopping the mass rally scheduled for a privately owned Secondary School in Benin.
The rally and reception, has, however, been relocated to the private residence of Ize-Iyamu in the GRA section of Benin.
Multiple sources told GWG that the rally has been scaled down with an estimated 5,000 persons now expected instead of the tens of thousands that had earlier been mobilized for the rally.
Besides Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, the national chairman of the APC who arrived for the reception, other high ranking party officials notably members of the National Working Committee, NWC and the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege are also being expected for the rally expected to take off from just before noon.
