English attackers had until recently been overshadowed by foreign imports on the goal scoring sheets in the premiership.

But no longer.

This season is looking different as players from England are making their country proud. There are more than three players from England in the top 10 goal scorers list. 

England’s Jamie Vardy of Leicester has scored seventeen goals so far this season. He is the League’s highest goalscorer. The Foxes goalscoring addict has been an inspiration for other strikers to bang in the goals and his fellow countrymen have followed his footsteps.

A total of 1,710 minutes were enough for him to score the goals. 

Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham scored the winner against Arsenal in the Emirates to take his goals tally to 12 for the season. Frank Lampard’s attempt to rejuvenate his Blues has been made easier by Abraham’s consistency in front of goal.

He has played a total of 1,492 minutes so far this season. 

Everyone has been mesmerized by Marcus Rashford’s goalscoring exploits this season. From wonderful free kicks, to continuous conversion of penalty kicks, superb dribbling abilities, good positioning into the box and great jump power. He has been a standout performer for Manchester United this season.

His 12 goals in 1,732 minutes have helped Manchester United to forge on for a place in the top four of the table.

Pep Guardiola’s loyal disciple Raheem Sterling has overtaken Carlos Tevez on the Manchester City’s all-time goalscoring charts.

He is still one of the most improved players in the present Manchester City squad alongside Bernado Silva and Fernandinho. Eleven goals in 1,671 minutes from him have kept Manchester City’s title challenge alive. 

The captain of the English national team, Harry Kane hasn’t also been nonchalant in the goalscoring department for his side.

Since the arrival of Jose Mourinho, his goalscoring boots have been razor sharpened and he has kept on scoring. He has scored 11 goals in 1,705 minutes. Harry Kane has been a joy to watch!!!
