An energetic, muscular, indomitable attacker has been sending messages to defenses in the Premier League. Manchester City’s defense was one of the latest to succumb to his incredible ability to cause havoc and trouble defenders.

A remarkable comeback was witnessed as Wolves came from two goals down to win the game 3-2. Adama Traore was the protagonist of the fairytale.

City were in charge of the game until Adama Traore dribbled past the opponent defenders and slotted the ball into the net from outside the box to make it 2-1. He provided the assist for his team’s second goal when he dispossessed Benjamin Mendy in the box and gave an exquisite pass to Raul Gimenez who scored the goal with ease.

The Wolves team had gotten the momentum to snatch the win away from Manchester City and eventually did that. The defeat quenched the fire of Pep Guardiola’s plans to give hot pursuit for the title.

Wolves also became the second team after Chelsea to beat Manchester City in the home and away fixtures since Pep’s reign as City’s manager started.

Adama Traore’s incredible performances didn’t just come all of a sudden. He went through the rigorous process of the La Masia academy in Spain where he was given the required training to excel as a professional footballer.

The 23-year-old featured for the Barcelona B team and was promoted to the senior team where he played one match. Progressively, he moved to Aston Villa and also played for Middlesbrough before signing for Wolverhampton Wanderers his present club in 2018.

STYLE OF PLAY: He is fast, strong, creative, rugged and aggressive on the ball. These attributes possessed by him are what make him one of the hottest properties in the Premier League right now.

He has also been compared to Adebayo Akinfenwa of Wycombe because of his big body physique. His ability to make use of his acceleration and vision to orchestrate chances is extraordinary.

Some of his records include:

Middlesbrough Fans’ Player of the Year (2017/2018)

Middlesbrough Fans’ young Player of the Year (2017/2018)

UEFA YOUTH LEAGUE (2013/2014)
