Many people didn’t expect Arsenal to perform brilliantly in the game, considering the fact that the Gunners had been unsettled in recent times. A good start to the year might just be the trigger they need to forge on and rewrite the story.

Mikel Arteta showed that he had the ability to win games and inspire his team to play the tiki taka style in one of the most scintillating ways. Mesut Ozil was looking happy to play in the colors of an Arsenal jersey during the match as he disseminated the ball to his teammates with precision, Alex Lacazette was on fire, despite the fact that he didn’t score a goal, he was everywhere during the game. Harry Maguire was infuriated by Lacazette’s effrontery to dribble past him. It was a five-star performance.
