Coalition Of Northern Groups Flays Kwara’s Demolition Of Saraki’s Property
The demolition of Senator Olusola Saraki’s home for the elderly is downright dirty politics which the Coalition of Northern Groups vowed on Sunday that it would not accept.
The group in a statement issued to newsmen said it would not sit down idly and see the legacies of a revered northern leader trampled upon by an “irresponsible and self-serving government.”
The group in a statement issued by its spokesman, Abdulazeez Suleiman said the group would not sit “idly while respected northern figures, living or dead are deliberately ridiculed by bankrupt power-hungry and cutthroat politicians anywhere.”
While observing the late Saraki’s strides in the polity, it said:
“For this revered gentle servant of the people to be treated with disdain by irresponsible politicians a few years after his death is therefore dirty, callous and downright unacceptable.”
