Zenith Bank Will Partner Customers To Take Opportunities In 2020 – GMD

Zenith Bank has sent assurance of a prosperous year ahead for its customers as they partner with the bank in navigating opportunities in the financial services industry.

Group Managing Director of Zenith Bank, Mr. Ebenezer Onyeagwu in a New Year video message to customers asked them to take opportunity of emerging positive scenarios in the domestic and international environments to forge into a glorious 2020.

Observing Zenith’s global reputation as a customer-centric financial services provider, Mr. Onyeagwu affirmed the bank’s readiness to partner with present and future customers in positively navigating the environment with them towards increasing value for all.

While noting Zenith’s leading role in the deployment of technology, the Zenith helmsman assured stakeholders of the bank’s capacity to handle all issues pertaining to the emergence of Fintech in the financial services space.

He said:

In the outgone year the global economy was impacted by uncertainties and profound trade and geopolitical tensions while the domestic economy continued to recover from the 2016 economic recession. However, with your support, we were able to weather the constraints in our operating environment.

The economic prognosis for the domestic economy in 2020 appears brighter as government policies and programmes to spur growth are expected to gain further traction. Global microeconomic headwinds are receding especially with the recent trade deal between the US and China and the somewhat certainty with the Brexit conundrum after the December 2019 election in the United Kingdom.

I am confident therefore that the domestic and global economy will be convivial for business in 2020. As we journey into 2020 and a new decade, I count on your continued partnership.
