Lagos Set To Begin Home Grown School Feeding Programme

The Lagos State Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folashade Adefisayo has disclosed that the home grown school feeding system would commence in the next few weeks.

According to her, the programme would not only cover pupils in primaries one to three but also those in primaries four to six.

The home grown school feeding programme an initiative of the present All Progressives Congress, (APC), that provides one meal a day to pupils in public schools across the country.

The programme which stated some years ago in some states is yet to commence in Lagos.
