Edo APC Faces Devil’s Alternative With Obaseki, Oshiomhole – Orbih

The All Progressives Congress, APC in Edo State is now faced with the devil’s alternative of choosing between Godwin Obaseki and Adams Oshiomhole either of which will lead to the collapse of the party in the forthcoming governorship election, Dan Orbih has said.

Addressing supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Igarra, Akoko Edo Local Government Area, the state chairman of the party also accused the APC administration in the state of abandoning governance for full-time politicking.

“What is happening in Edo State has a historical side of the story. Some years ago, the PDP worked so hard and install a governor in the person of Prof. Osunbor. After he assumed office, he started quarreling with the party; there was a big quarrel between Osunbor and Chief Tony Anenih,” Orbih said.

“It was from that quarrel that the APC took over the government from the PDP. Today, history is repeating itself; there is a quarrel between Adams Oshiomhole and Mr. Godwin Obaseki, I want to tell you that from that quarrel the PDP will come back to power.

“I want to say, if Godwin Obasek has his way, PDP will win; if Adams Oshiomhole has his way in the crisis, PDP will still win.”
