Police Begin Investigation Into Murder Of Corps Member

Police Arrest 10 In Lagos For Traffic Robbery

The Osun State Commissioner of Police, Johnson  Kokumo, has directed an investigation into the murder of  National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC), member, Adebayo  Mukaila by suspected armed  robbers.

 The Police boss who sympathized with the family of the slain corps member promised that police would do everything possible to arrest those behind the crime.

He said, “We sympathise with the family of the deceased. We assure the public that no stone will be left unturned in getting to the root of the incident,.”

 Mukaila,  was the owner  of a mini-supermarket at Omo west street close to NYSC Secretariat in Osogbo, where he sells provision and engage in money transfer.

It was learnt that the deceased, popularly called Alfa, was attacked around 11:00pm, on Tuesday, after closing his shop for the day’s business. 

Sources close to where the incident happened disclosed that the suspected robbers dispossessed Mukaila  of cash, PoS machine, and other items in the bag that he was carrying before he was shot in the head.

The robbers were said to have fled the scene on motorcycle.
