Controversy is trailing the real Identity of the suspected suicide bomber who was arrested with explosives, attempting to bomb a living church, by the Kaduna State Police Command, on Sunday.

The man, who gave his name as Nathaniel Samuel was arrested in a Living Faith church located at Sabon Tasha in Chukun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The suspected suicide bomber also identified himself as a Christian.

The development has generated controversy among Christians and Muslims, on the social media with some now alleging that he is not a Christian with his real names being given as Mohammed Nasiru Sani.

Some Christians who reacted to the news argued that this was a calculated attempt by the Federal Government to spread the narrative that Christians are the ones bombing their churches.

While some Muslims used the opportunity to shift way the assumptions that all suicide bombers are Muslims are suicide bombers or their religion supports terrorism.
