INEC Reduces Political Parties To 18

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Thursday de-registered 74 political parties.

With this development, there are now 18 registered political parties in the country.

The decision to de-register some political parties may be unconnected with their inability to win a single seat in the 2019 general elections
