Buhari In Maiduguri For Condolence Visit
President Muhammadu Buhari is in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital on a condolence visit to the people of the state following the recent attacks by Boko Haram.
The president arrived Maiduguri straight from Addis Ababa where he went for the summit of the African Union and thereafter embarked on a state visit to the country.
While in Ethiopia the president commiserated with the people of Borno State over the attack on Urno that left as many as 30 persons dead.
The attack nonetheless, the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP asked him to return home and lead from the front.
Confirmation of the president’s visit was made by his spokesman, Mallam Garba Shehu who tweeted:
