The immediate past chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Ondo State, Mr. Isaac Kekemeke, on Sunday vowed to unseat governor Rotimi Akeredolu, in the forthcoming Ondo State governorship election.

Kekemeke, who spoke with journalists in Akure, the state capital, said he has the potentials to defeat Akeredolu in the forthcoming primary of the All Progressive Congress.

Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has fixed October 10, 2020 for the Ondo State governorship election.

He also refuted the insinuations that he joined the governorship race as a platform to get the deputy governor ticket, if the incumbent, Agboola Ajayi dropped his ambition.

In his words, “I am not running to become the deputy governor of anybody. Akeredolu did not run inclusive government, but a secluded administration; so I am set to unseat him and become the next governor of the state.”
