Protest Against Killing Of Sagamu Footballer Turns Bloody

The protest against the killing of Tiamiyu Kazeem, a footballer with Remo Stars Football Club who was allegedly murdered on Saturday by operatives of Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), on Monday, turned bloody as two of the protesters has been allegedly shot to dead by the police.

The protesters took to the streets of Sagamu to demand justice over the death of Kazeem (popularly known as Kaka) while chanting songs in Yoruba language demanding for the engagement of SARS.

The protesters also visited the palace of the Akarigbo and the paramount ruler of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Ajayi to demand justice for the deceased.

In some of the videos posted on social media, protesters were seen carrying the lifeless body of a young man, who was allegedly shot by the police.
