EFCC Apprehends Yahoo-Yahoo Boys With Coffin

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested six suspected internet fraudsters, popularly called ‘Yahoo boys’, with a mini coffin in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The names of the suspects were given as Azeez Adebowale, Toyinsola Bolumole, Ifelowo Ololade, Sonuyi Ayodeji, Folarin Olayinka, and Aluko Olawale.

The anti-graft agency spokesperson, Tony Orilade in a statement, on Tuesday, disclosed that one of the suspects, Mr Adebowale, 38, claimed to be using the coffin as suit case, in order to hypnotise his victims.

Mr Orilade also noted that four cars, sophisticated phones and Automated Teller Machine (ATM) cards were recovered from the suspects.

The raid was said to have taken place in Oluyole and Alao-Akala Estates in Ibadan, Oyo State.
