46 Year-Old American Woman’s Marriage Plans To 23-Year Old Kano Man Stalled

The new visa policy of the United States of America directed against Nigerians has stalled the wedding ceremony of American woman, Mrs. Deslky Sanchez, and the Kano-born, Isah Panshekara, scheduled to hold this month, March.

Recall Mrs. Deslky found love with 23 year old, Isah on Instagram, a love affair that brought the American woman to Nigeria, to familarise herself with Isah’s parents.

Disclosing the challenge, Isah’s father, Mr Panshekara, in a telephone interview with Daily Trust said,

“The wedding will not hold in March as earlier planned because of the new policy of United States government on visa ban for Nigerians. However, the American woman is doing her best to explore other available opportunities to secure him papers as an American citizen. Once that is done we shall fix a new date for the wedding.”

The proposed wedding was scheduled to take place in America, in March, after Mrs Deslky’s meeting with the family of his lover in Kano, with the father of the groom-to-be demanding that three conditions should be met before allowing his son to travel to America.

Those conditions included the approval by Nigerian security agencies and that Isah would remain a Muslim in America.
