Oshiomhole’s Foes In Strategy Meeting Ahead Of NEC

Opponents of the Comrade Adams Oshiomhole in the leadership of the All Progressives Congress, APC on Tuesday informally commenced preparations for the National Executive Committee, NEC meeting where they hope to bury the political star of the national chairman.

The faction of the National Working Committee (NWC) aligned to the Acting National Secretary, Mr. Victor Giadom met for about three hours at the national secretariat of the party on Tuesday where they were reported to have initiated preparations for the NEC meeting scheduled for March 17.

The meeting has, however, been discountenanced by the faction of the leadership aligned to the national chairman.

Among those who met on Tuesday were Giadom, the national vice chairman, Northeast, Comrade Salihu Mustapha, national vice chairman, South West, Pastor Bankole Oluwajana and the national organising secretary, Emma Ubeduro, National Youth Leader. Abubakar Sadiq and the National Woman Leader, Hajiya Salamatu Beiwa.

The meeting was also graced by some non-members of the NWC among whom was Anselm Ojezua, the chairman of the Edo State chapter of the party.

After meeting for about two hours, the party chieftains drove out in  a convoy to another venue where they were said to have continued with their strategies.
