Nigerians have taken to the microblogging platform, Twitter, to sympathize with the victims of the explosion that rocked Abule Ado, Trade Fair axis of Lagos State.

In some of the videos posted on Twitter, churches, houses, and boarding schools were seen to have been affected by the explosion.

Some of those with residential houses around the Trade Fair axis of Amuwo-Odofin Local Government were affected by the quake created by the explosion.

In some of the videos, buildings were burning, iron roofs of residential houses were destroyed affecting other properties and school students were scampering for safety due to the explosion.

However, some of the social media users have attributed the explosion to a gas plant around the axis, contrary to the claim of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) that the cause of the incident is unknown.
