Amaechi’s Man Hits Abe Over New Rivers PDP Exco

Published

on

Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, a rabid supporter of Rotimi Amaechi has taunted Magnus Abe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Rivers State over what he claimed as the betrayal of Nyesom Wike in the emergence of a new executive of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the state.

He asserted that the emergence of the new chairman of the PDP from Abe’s senatorial zone has made it impossible for Abe to emerge as a PDP candidate in the 2023 General Election.

Abe is a chieftain of the APC and has fought off Eze’s political godfather, Amaechi. Eze has, however, consistently alleged that Abe is a proxy of Wike’s in the APC though he has never provided a proof of the claim. Abe has also pooh-poohed Eze’s claims.

In his allegation in a statement on Tuesday, Eze postulated that the election of the PDP Chairman from the South East Senatorial Zone, where Senator Magnus Abe hails from marks an end to his PDP gubernatorial ambition, as it is settled that APC is no longer an option for him.

Eze described Governor Nyesom Wike as a political wizard who has the strategy of how to retire seasoned and key politicians from Rivers State and place them as members of his cathedral that follows him around as sheep without any direction or vision.
