Outrage Over Alleged BA Flight To Lagos

Nigerians have taken to social media to express outrage that the morning British Airways Flight 075 London to Lagos has been scheduled for takeoff.
On twitter Nigerians are in outrage that the ban on flight operations which became effective on Monday night is being breached to allow some privileged persons.
Most of the COVID-19 cases in the country were imported and a travel ban had been seen as the most effective way of stopping further spread of the disease.
However, nearly all of them apart from the index case are also Nigerians who have the legitimate right to return to their country.
Efforts to confirm the development from British Airways office in London were unfruitful as the call centre in London was said to be unavailable.
The regular BA Flight 75 to Lagos which had been scheduled for the regular departure time of 9.50 GMT has reportedly been rescheduled for 13.40.
