We Don’t Know Where Kyari Is – LASG

The Lagos State Government on Tuesday denied knowledge of the presence of the Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari who is reported to be in Lagos for the management of his COVID-19 infection.

The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, made the disclosure while speaking with newsmen on Tuesday.

“I’m not aware of the Chief of Staff’s itinerary, so I don’t know where he is, we chat on WhatsApp but I cannot tell where he is from our chat,” Prof. Abayomi said.

“We’re exchanging information, but I haven’t asked him for his location.

“He seems well and happy and we’re exchanging information on strategic issues.

“It has been a long time we talked about his health. I presume he has made a full recovery.”

His assertion was against the background of the claim by Kyari that he was relocating to Lagos to manage the treatment of the infection albeit at his own expense.
