A Kogi State-based lady and former beauty queen, Ms. Elisabeth Oyeniyi has opened up on how the Kogi State commissioner of water resources, Abdulmumini Danga allegedly raped her three times in one night after his thugs had allegedly assautlted her.

Oyeniyi and Danga had been at the centre over allegations of battery and rape following claims by many human rights groups that the commissioner caused thugs to molest the lady after she made a facebook posting that Danga allegedly saw as abusive.

Oyeniyi had alleged that she was battered by agents of the commissioner in the presence of his toddler son following which she was taken to a hotel and sexually violated.

Opening up on the development in an interview conducted in a secret location by Channels Television, the lady said the commissioner allegedly raped her after overseeing the attack on her by thugs in Okene.

She said she was taken to a hotel that is directly facing the Government House, Lokoja where Dunga seemed to maintain a regular accommodation.

“When they took me there, the driver and one other person they called his brother followed us there and took me to the room they wanted to put me. I met some of his things there and it seems as if he rests there.

” On entering the room I had my bath because I was rolling on the ground when they beat me. all my clothes were very dirty and rough, so I washed myself because of the COVID.

“So, the man (commissioner) when he came he started making advances but I was rejecting and pleading that he should please not do this and maybe because he was conscious of what he did as I was seriously in pains but the man is very huge and I did not even have the strength to fight him off, so he had his way. He did not even rape me once, it was three times before daybreak.”

The lady said she is in hiding because the agents of the commissioner are on the prowl for her.

Efforts to get the reaction of the state government through the commissioner for information, Kingsley Fanwo were abortive as he neither picked calls nor responded to a text message.
