Nigeria’s COVID19 Toll Hits 232
Eight new cases of the COVID19 disease were confirmed in Nigeria on Sunday evening bringing the total number of cases in the country to 232.
The eight new cases were in three states that had previously reported confirmations. There were five cases in Lagos, two in the FCT and one in Kaduna State.
Remarkably, the recovery rate continued to inspire with the latest report indicating that 33 of the 232 persons afflicted with the coronavirus had recovered and been discharged.
The state by state distribution of the disease as at 9.30 p.m. are as follows:
