COVID-19 Relief: Ugwuanyi Unveils Coal City Rice

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has unveiled locally produced rice christened Coal City Rice for distribution to the citizenry.

The cereal food product, a statement by Louis Anaroke, his spokesman is an initiative by the state government and will be deployed as one of the palliatives to cushion the effect of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic on citizens of the state.

The governor was represented on occasion by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Simon Uchenna Ortuanya and had the State Commissioner for Agriculture, Hon. Mathew Idu, Special Adviser to the Governor on Agriculture, Engr. Michael Ogbuekwe among others in attendance.
