Former aviation minister Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has taken the world’s richest couple, Bill and Melinda Gates to task over the wife’s claim of catastrophe on the streets of Africa as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Affirming the couple’s intentions towards the continent and the world as dubious, Fani-Kayode said the assertion was founded on what he described as the couple’s spiritually ‘heinous desire’ towards the continent and the world.

Fani-Kayode’s assertions were, however, dismissed by many others on social media who affirmed Mrs. Gates’ sincere thoughts towards the continent saying that her fears about Africa were premised on the poor conditions of the continent.

Mrs. Gates had in an interview with CNN said:

“Its going to be horrible in the developing world. Part of  the reasons you are seeing the case numbers still do not look very bad, is because they don’t have access to many tests.

“Look at what is happening in Ecuador, they are putting bodies out on the streets, you are going to see that in countries in Africa,” she said.

Responding in a post on twitter, https://twitter.com/realFFK/status/1249549937412538369?s=19,  Fani-Kayode said:
“Now I want to tell you that there is a spiritual principle involved here. When you say you see dead bodies all over the streets of Africa you are actually projecting that and it is a spiritual principle.

“When David met Goliath on the field, Goliath spoke on what he would do to David and that he would cut him off and feed his flesh to the birds. David responded by saying no, I will cut off your head with your own sword.

“She has made her pronouncement, we know what she wants to do, we know what her husband is doing, we know what they are planning concerning their magic vaccine which is actually designed to cut the population of the world. I will say this to Melinda Gates and Bill Gates; the bible says who is he that saith a thing and it cometh to pass when the Lord of Hosts has commanded it not.

“It is not on the streets of Africa that you will see dead bodies, we reject it,” he asserted.

Fani-Kayode’s fear was, however, rebuffed by many others who said Mrs. Gates was being hounded over her sincere fears of what the lack of adequate facilities could cause the continent on account of the COVID-19 pandemic.

One of those who differed was author and twitter influencer, JJ Omojuwa who in a post wrote:
“My heart goes out to Bill & Melinda Gates. The kinds of propaganda I have received, making them look like mass murderers, would turn even some reasonable folks with limited reasoning. Harder to take when you’ve dedicated your life to the upliftment of the human race.”
