Lagos, Kano Yield 88% Of New COVID-19 Cases

Fears of community transmission of COVID-19, in Nigeria’s two main population centres of Kano increased on Wednesday after the two states between them shared 30 of the 34 new cases that were reported on that day
That was 88% of the total cases reported on Wednesday.
Lagos reported 18 new cases while Kano which had its first case just few days ago reported 12 new cases. The other states were Katsina 2, Delta 1 and Niger 1.
The 34 new cases brought total COVID-19 cases in the country to 407.
