One Dies Of COVID-19 In Kano As Cases Rise To 21

Apprehension over the COVID-19 pandemic was taking root in Kano on Thursday after it was revealed late on Wednesday that the state has suffered one death with the number of cases shooting to 21.

The State Ministry of Health reported the latest figure of 21 cases as against the 12 that was reported by the National Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, the national agency in charge of coordinating the national response to the pandemic.

The State Ministry of Health through its verified twitter handle @KNSMOH reported thus:

“As at Wednesday, April 15, 2020; at 11:55 p.m. one death of COVID-19 has been recorded in Kano State.

“Wednesday, April 15, 2020; as at 11:45 p.m.12 additional cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Kano State.”
