Speaking at the regular press briefing by the PTF on Monday evening, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Mr. Boss Mustapha said:

“The Presidential Task Force regrets the violations of the principle of social distancing during the burial of the late chief of staff. Appropriate lessons have been learnt and measures taken,” Mr. Mustapha said.

Speaking in the same vein, the Coordinator of the PTF, Dr. Sani Aliyu urged the citizenry to come together to fight a common enemy adding that the Gudu Cemetery and the appliances used during the burial of Kyari have been decontaminated.

“Contrary to what is in social media the late Chief of staff’s body was properly decontaminated and buried according to Islamic rites.

“We would like to further inform the public that we will like to continue the guidelines that we have produced,” Dr. Aliyu said as he asked the public to continue to hold the PTF accountable.
