Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Cross 1,000
114 News Cases On Friday
The number of COVID-19 case crossed 1,000 on Friday following the confirmation of 114 new cases of the disease in nine states of the federation.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said the new cases have taken the number of active cases of the virus to 855, and the total number of infections recorded so far to 1,095 as of late Friday.
The centre, which disclosed this in its daily tweet, said the country’s COVID-19 cases exceeded 1,000 because of the 114 new cases recorded in nine states of the federation.
The agency in its tweet said:
The agency reports that there was one death in the last 24 hours while it removed five cases earlier put in Lagos to Ogun State
